Procedure: 
  •  students read a text about what Reverse Logistics involve.
  • students read some questions about reverse logistics and watch a short video on the topic
  • students write their own definition of logistics

What is logistics? What does it involve?

Procedure: This video provides an overview of what Logistics is. You may want to activate students previous knowledge of logistics by brainstorming how much they know about logistics and watching this video afterwards.

You may ask students to either:
  • summarize the content of the video (higher level students)
  • write sentences regarding the content

Procedure:
  • Whole class or groups  of students brainstorm what is important for a job interview
  • Compare student's answers with infographics below. Go over difficult vocabulary. (See possible list below)  
  • Students prepare their answers to the the 4 questions more likely to be asked.  Each team should be given a company or choose one so that they can answer question 3.
Vocabulary:
 (source of definitions wikepedia/urban dictionary - adapted) 

To fidget: to move about restlessly, nervously, or impatiently
To winge something (slang) to improvise with little preparation
To lack: not to have

Level:  Intermediate and upper 
Idea and Materials: Gerard McLoughlin at the 2016  Barcelona  British Council Workshop
Procedure: 
  1. Ask students to take the test (video  in A )
  2. Ask students to write how different color blind people  may feel  
  3. Show students the  Valspar Glasses videos for blind people   (video  in C )
  4. Ask students to match the sentence and speaker: Keith Andrew Atlee  Chris
  5. Start discussion by using prompt questions in section E 
 A)  Test: Are you color blind?   (Length. 1 min.33 ss)

  

B) Imagine: How may these  color blind people feel? 
1 a  young father  and looking at  his kid’s paintings
2 a  young  girl  shopping with friends
3 a  young man and his own feelings

Ernesto Sirolli is a noted authority in the field of sustainable economic development and is the Founder of the Sirolli Institute, an international non-profit organization that teaches community leaders how to establish and maintain Enterprise Facilitation projects in their community. The Institute is now training communities in the USA, Canada, Australia, England and Scotland.
In 1985, he pioneered in Esperance, a small rural community in Western Australia, a unique economic development approach based on harnessing the passion, determination, intelligence, and resourcefulness of the local people. The striking results of "The Esperance Experience" have prompted more than 250 communities around the world to adopt responsive, person-centered approaches to local economic development similar to the Enterprise Facilitation® model pioneered in Esperance.
